Under the AHEDA ELTA-ELSE grant the Department of Zoology organized a short term training programme for technical and academic staff from departments of Botany and Zoology. The event was a fruitful one held at the NWSDB, Vavuniya with the help from Mr.S.Saravanan (Regional Senior Chemist, NWSDB) and the coordination of Dr.Mrs.A.Sivaruban.
