The Zoological Students’ Association (ZSA), Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science, University of Jaffna, is excited to announce an Innovation Competition as part of the Faculty of Science’s 50th-anniversary celebrations. This competition aims to promote STEM education among school students by encouraging innovative solutions for sustainable energy.
Theme: Utilization of Waste Materials for Sustainable Energy
Date: Fourth Week of March 2025
Time: From 9:00 AM onwards
Venue: Department of Zoology, University of Jaffna
Extended Project Proposal Submission Deadline: 28th February 2025
Proposal Submission: Fill out the provided proposal forms or download them from the ZSA official Facebook page and send the scanned copy to zsa.jaffnauni@gmail.com on or before 28th of February 2025.
Final Project Submission: On the day of the competition
Prizes:
1st Place – Rs. 10,000
2nd Place – Rs. 7,000
3rd Place – Rs. 3,000
All participants will receive a certificate of participation and winners will be awarded special recognition certificates and prizes
