It is with great pleasure we congratulate Professor Noble Surendran, Senior Professor of Zoology, who has been elected as one of the nine new Fellows of the National Academy of Sciences of Sri Lanka. His election by the eminent Fellows of the National Academy marks a significant milestone, as he becomes only the second academic from the University of Jaffna along with Prof. P. Ravirajan to be elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences of Sri Lanka. Congratulations sir.
